Lecture at the University of Navarra: ‘Design and Environmental Management of Buildings’ Master

Rita Barata, architect and Marketing Director at PMMT Arquitectura, will give a lecture next Tuesday, February 11, to the students of the Design and Environmental Management of Buildings Master in University of Navarra.

She will explain how we can introduce a health criteria in the building materials choice thanks to Friendly Materials®, an assessment methodology that allows evaluating and objectively compare how do building materials affect people's health in indoor areas. The tool wants to help making informed decisions on building materials and assist architects to design environments that offer the highest quality of life.

The lecture is part of the subject ‘Materials and waste management’, which aims to raise awareness of the most relevant aspects of materials and waste management in order to reduce the environmental impacts associated with the construction of buildings, under the concept of circular architecture.
